Construction of Lido and Restaurant & Land Reclamation - Sliema

This part of project consisted of a concrete / masonry restaurant / sports area on two levels each, the levels covering a total area of approximately 600 square meters. It mainly consisted of concrete columns, beams and plates. Due to the location of the existing rock foundations, the columns were constructed on 700-900mm diameter pipes. The site was very long and narrow, and this, in itself presented its own logistical problems. Despite these difficulties, this part of the project was finished three months ahead of schedule.
